Jimmy: There’s one brother that designed a tattoo for you.
Alexander: Yes. This was like Christmas eight years ago, and he was 7-years-old and doodling. He just drew a little thing on my leg. We were just hanging out and I took a picture of it. I thought it was kind of cool. Went back to LA and went to a tattoo parlor. I’m the oldest and he was the youngest, so for me it kind of symbolized the family and everything. So I went to the tattoo parlor and said, “I want this on my leg forever - for my family, for my brother.” And I did it, I got it. I didn’t tell him, I wanted to surprise him.
-Alexander Skarsgård on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Alexander Skarsgard steps out on the Spring day and signs autographs for his fans on Tuesday (April 9) in New York City.
“I’m always looking for something that’s real and that’s got meat on it. I think it’s artistic suicide if you’re too vain, or if you’re afraid to play ugly. I would never fall for that.”
